This year’s theme is “Sacred Geographies of Bharat: The Eternal Tīrtha-Maṇḍala.” From the confluence of cosmic rivers at Triveni Sangam in Prayāga to the bhakti-soaked groves of Vrindavan, from the dharma-throne of Ayodhya to the ancestral sanctity of Gaya, from luminous Varanasi, Kāśī where Mahādeva grants mokṣa, to the ocean-embraced Jagannath Temple in Purī, from the Himalayan stillness of Kedarnath Temple to the western gateway of Dwarka, from the Śakti kṣetra of Vindhyachal Temple to the desert sanctum of Pushkar, from the dharma-yuddha field of Kurukshetra to the sacred shores of Ramanathaswamy Temple, this calendar celebrates Bharat not as territory but as consecrated space. In Vikram Samvat 2083, we honor these tīrthas as luminous nodes in a timeless spiritual network where geography becomes theology and every pilgrimage becomes a return to civilisational memory.
